MeshCare is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider. We offer a range of support services for people with disabilities to help them achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.

  • You will receive notification from the NDIS by your preferred mode of communication (usually email or letter) to let you know your new plan is active. It will contain your my place portal activation code, which expires within 10 days.
  • About 24 hours after your plan has been approved, it will be available on the NDIS myplace portal. You will usually also receive a printed copy of your plan in the mail.
  1. Eligibility for NDIS Support services is determined by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). You can check your eligibility by contacting the NDIA directly or visiting their website for more information.
  2. Age requirements: Are you aged between 7 and 65?
  3. Residence requirements: Are you an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected Special Category Visa holder? And you must live in Australia.
  4. Disability requirements: Do you have a disability caused by a permanent impairment? Do you usually need disability-specific supports to complete daily life activities?
  5. Early intervention requirements: Do you need some supports now to reduce your future need for support? Do you need some supports now for your family to build their skills to help you?

However, MeshCare will carefully match staff based on individual needs and strive to ensure compatibility and continuity of care.

The NDIS or the National Disability Insurance Scheme is Australia’s first national Scheme for people with disability. The funding is to be utilized for all reasonable and necessary supports they need to live an ordinary life.

The NDIA stands for National Disability Insurance Agency. It is a Commonwealth government agency that is responsible for implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The NDIA is made up of the people who will support you to understand the NDIS and whether you are eligible to access the NDIS.

  • A carer is a person who provides unpaid care and support to family members or friends with a disability, a serious long-term illness, a terminal illness, a drug or alcohol issue or who are frail and aged.
  • Do Carers receive support outside of the NDIS? Carers receive a range of supports including respite support, counselling, education and training, peer support and advocacy.
  • The Carer Advisory Service provides information and advice to carers and their families about carer supports and services.
